When it’s Good it’s Great, When it’s Bad it’s Awful focuses on the shift through the Digital age, the significance of social media, the camera phone and their ubiquitous presence. With this surge of ‘photographers’ people are more likely to see the world through a lens, making them consider the form and composition of what would make a ‘good’ photograph. Social media’s lack of mediation eliminates any need for a photo to be ‘good’, I believe visual art no longer carries the weight it used to.
